Your Desktop, Watched.
24/7. Zero Code.

Drag a box. Set your rules. Get Telegram alerts when conditions are met.

4 Detection Engines. 1 App.

Pick the engine that matches your monitoring need — or combine them across different screen regions.

📝

OCR Text

Read text on screen. Fire alerts on keyword match, numeric threshold, rising/falling trends.

🖼️

Image Match

Detect icons, buttons, or patterns with template matching. Adjustable similarity threshold.

🎨

Color Detect

Watch for specific color blocks (hex value). Define block size and tolerance. Multi-color logic.

🔄

Change Detect

Trigger when the screen region changes — or when it stays static for too long. Pixel-diff engine.

3 Steps to Your First Monitor

No scripting. No config files. Just your mouse and 5 minutes.

1

Draw a Box

Click "Add Task" and drag a red overlay box anywhere on your screen. Resize it to cover exactly what you want to watch.

2

Set a Rule

Choose detection type — OCR, Image, Color, or Change. Enter your target value. Pick an alert sound.

3

Let It Run

Hit Start. Screen Alert monitors your regions continuously. When conditions are met, you get alerted — instantly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to install Python or any runtime?

No. Screen Alert is a single .exe file. Download, double-click, run. All dependencies are bundled inside.

Does it work on Mac or Linux?

Windows only at this time (Windows 10 / 11). Mac and Linux versions are not planned for the near future.

Is my screen data uploaded anywhere?

No. All OCR, image matching, and color detection run entirely on your local machine. Screenshots are only uploaded if you explicitly enable the optional cloud upload feature (for Telegram screenshot alerts).

How do Telegram alerts work?

During login, scan a QR code with your phone to link your Telegram account. Once bound, alerts are pushed directly to your Telegram chat via the Screen Alert bot.

Can I run multiple tasks at the same time?

Yes. You can define up to 20+ independent monitoring regions. Each runs on its own detection cycle with adjustable frequency. The adaptive thread pool manages CPU usage automatically.

Is Screen Alert really free?

Yes. All features are currently free with no time limit. If we introduce a paid plan in the future, we will notify all users at least 30 days in advance. No features will be taken away without notice.

What payment methods do you accept?

None at the moment — the software is free. When we introduce paid plans, we will support PayPal.
